Our goods are continuously monitored by independent laboratories which ensures a consistently high quality which you can rely on at all times. This quality assurance is always confirmed by numerous independent and external certifications in accordance with IFS, BRC and the HACCP concept (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Concept) as an element of these certifications.

IFS certificate

The IFS certification (International Featured Standards) assesses a company with regard to food safety and food quality. The certification is conducted by the external SGS Fresenius Institute. We are very proud that we have achieved the “Higher Level” rating for already many years in succession. Besides the regular annual inspections there are also unannounced food checks!


The BRC Global Standard was developed by the British Retail Consortium and outlines requirements for food safety and quality. The SGS Fresenius Institute inspects adherence to the standards which are also used outside Great Britain. We have achieved this certification with the Grade A rating for already many years.


HACCP is an abbreviation for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Concept and is a concept to ensure food safety. An element of this is, for example, the monitoring of food hygiene.



The UTZ programme is committed to the sustainable cultivation of coffee, tea and cocoa and improves environmental protection and the working conditions of the local farmers. By buying UTZ certified cocoa we make a contribution to this programme.
